On October 25 and 26, the Russian National Orchestra will put on two concerts in its Magic of Music series, with the participation of musicians from Moscow's renowned Gnesin Academy of Music.
Both the Moscow concert, to be held in the Orchestrion, and the second in Troitsk will be aimed at students of music schools and schools for the arts. As the concerts will include young soloists from the Gnesin Academy alongside the professional musicians of the RNO, it will be yet another demonstration to students in attendance that "the impossible is possible," that to succeed one must work hard and show good, professional results through one's studies.
The concert programs will include piano concertos by Rachmaninov, Prokofiev and Chopin, and will be conducted by Alexei Sobolev. Both concerts are free, in keeping with the long tradition of the RNO's Magic of Music concerts.
